Ragini MMS 2 – 2 Mein Zyada Maza Hai

I will begin once again by stating this in no unclear terms. If you are going to watch Ragini MMS 2 - 2 mein zyada Dum Hai (that's the full name of the movie and I'm not kidding ;)) in the hope that you will see lot more of Sunny Leone than what you have already seen then it would be a colossal waste of your precious time.

At the average price of a ticket you can get a free month's membership (at least) for any of the myriad pornographic sites in the world - that too with a money back guarantee (don't hold me to actually getting your money back because I don't have any experience in the matter). In fact you can view most of it for free these days (now that's where I have a lot of experience). For more details you can call me at leisure.

Now that I'm done with the statutory warnings and not so statutory public service messages, lets try and tell you what was great about Ragini MMS 2.  That’s actually a very easy exercise.  Nothing.  Was there anything worth mentioning? Maybe a little bit. A couple of tracks have caught the fancy of the junta – rightfully so.  It starts with Baby Doll and finishes with 4 Bottle Vodka (a bit over rated).

There are some very meek attempts to show the challenges that are faced by the porn industry.  Sunny Leone plays herself and is instrumental in a sequence where she challenges her co-star (the plot is about a movie that is being made on the incidents that occurred in Ragini MMS) to come close to her moaning and groaning.  No fair I say.  Where is the contest?

Other than this it is all pretty much downhill.  The attempt at horror is worse than Dangerous Ishq or Haunted 3D (remember that awful movie starring Mahakshaya?)  The dialogues are identical to Ragini MMS and I quote, “Mein Chudail nahin hoon.  Maine apne bachchon ko nahin maara” (I am not a witch.  I did not kill my children).  Of course it oscillates between Marathi and English.

Even if you haven’t seen even a single horror movie before this one, it would not be difficult to guess what is going to happen next.  The guys sitting next to me were in fact predicting the sequence of events even 15 minutes before it actually happened. Bhushan Kumar has directed 1920 –Evil Returns before this and with Ragini MMS 2 he hasn’t raised the bar at all.  In fact, he has done a Rahul Gandhi.

One can only expect so much Sunny Leone.  But why is Divya Dutta preening around in short skirts attempting to be a clinical psychologist who has returned from New York? And Sandhya Mridul has come up with a performance of her life time – she cannot get worse than this.  Sandhya’s attempt to be a vernacular pretentious actress who cannot get enough of speaking horrid English is just too painful to sustain.

In all, I do not think I can say any more that could discourage you from watching Ragini MMS 2.  The meek attempt to show a raunchy kiss between Sandhya and Sunny falls woefully flat.  Ragini MMS 2 fails in every single department of horror film making.  1 on 10 – only for the couple of decent songs.
